Evolving Blog Posts
We discussed having several blog posts that could be evolving. But now I am wondering whether we need to keep better track of our actual writing process. Should we date additions to original posts, or should we just use the blog as part of the process and not worry about when the blog posting was changed/modified. Or, do we need to copy the post and create a new posting with the same name and new date each time we add so we know when something new is added? While I like the idea of just changing the post, I think we may want the data about how/when the new information was added.

I think this is what we talked about a bit today. I think a simple approach would be to just date our posts.
On second thought, when it comes to our lists, I think putting in the dates would be cumbersome. I mean we know it is an evolving list, right? Something that improve (hopefully). I think the most important part is to keep our additions all in one place.
But I guess following this format wouldn't hurt:
1. Process (6/14/08):
Can you tell it's getting late and we have been discussing this for a long time...I may need to step away from the blog. Please step away from the blog.
We can sleep on this issue and decide later. I'm tired too.
While I may change my mind in the morning, but I am thinking I agree with the idea that we know the post is evolving. Therefore, why are we forcing ourselves to change our process? Maybe we should just use our judgment and date it when we think it is necessary. Maybe later we can write a blog post about how we feel about the evolving posts, and then that can be our data about the evolving posts, rather than exactly what the post was.
Sounds good. Let's go with that one.
