As the blog continues to grow and we move toward organizing our information for the paper, I think we've both seen the need to start gathering multiple posts and placing them into one on-going post to consolidate the material. So here is a list of possible terms to identify this process...tell me which one you like best:
1. Organizing Post
2. Corral Post*
3. Cull Post*
4. Consolidation Post*
5. Gathering Post
5. Merge Post
6. Cornucopia Post (hah!)

I think it is great that you love naming stuff! I like 2 or 4.
Let's go with corral. A real corral has posts, right?
Yes, I think that is a necessary component!
Have you tried Google Reader? It won't corral your posts, but it will tell you when someone has created a new post...to your blog or any blog you are interested in keeping track of. It is like the blog roll feature here, only it is linked to your Google account. Google is trying to make it possible for people to really use their iGoogle page for interfacing with all their web interactions- Gmail, Google Docs, Google Reader, etc. As far as I can tell, though, Google Reader only tells you when there is a new post, not when an older post has been updated. Boo.
It would be nice to know when the blog gets a new posting. But, I give it a "boo" too for not updating us on comments...I just happened to scroll down the blog to see you had a comment.
So thanks for the comment, and thanks for the info.
