While, as we discussed today, I hate to focus on superficial descriptions of ourselves as researchers, I do think it is important that the readers have an understanding of our very diverse backgrounds and educational experiences. I think this is of particular interest as we think about potential uses in the classroom. While on the surface we may not seem to be likely collaborators, I think our unique perspectives and backgrounds are adding to our success with this project.
So, I just realized you said brief bio. But, in light of our conversation today, I think it is important to contextualize that, on the surface, we come from somewhat different backgrounds. Plus, I enjoy talking about my parents. There you have it.
